Our Growth Journey

Since its formation in 2020, Oakwood Group has steadily built a strong track record in residential development. Each project has contributed to the company’s growing experience in identifying opportunities, securing planning permission and delivering high-quality homes.

2020

Oakwood Group was established in June 2020, marking the beginning of the company’s residential development journey. Shortly after formation, the business secured its first development opportunity in Dundrum, acquiring a residential site that would become the company’s first completed project.

2021

In February 2021, Oakwood successfully secured planning permission for the Dundrum
development. The approved scheme included the refurbishment of the original house on the site along with the construction of a new home within the garden, marking the company’s first fully planned project.

2022

The Dundrum project was successfully delivered and completed in August 2022, representing Oakwood’s first finished development. Later that year, in December 2022, the company acquired a second development site in Monkstown as part of its growing project pipeline.

2024

In February 2024, Oakwood secured a third development opportunity in Mount Merrion. The Monkstown project reached completion in September 2024, further strengthening the company’s track record of delivering high-quality residential homes. In October 2024, the Oakwood brand was formally launched as the business continued to expand its development portfolio.

2025

Oakwood continued its growth in January 2025 with the acquisition of a ready-to-go development site in Foxrock. The Mount Merrion project was successfully delivered in August 2025. Later that year, in October 2025, the company secured a new greenfield development site in Kilternan, adding another significant project to its pipeline.

2026

In January 2026, Oakwood successfully secured planning permission for a residential scheme of 28 units in Kilternan, marking a major milestone as the company continues to scale its development activity. 2026 also marks the completion of Foxrock Project.
