Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to assist with the daily operations on-site. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities: :
- Assist in setting up and preparing the site for daily operations.
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as required.
- Perform general site clean-up, maintenance tasks, and manage waste disposal.
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as mixing materials, handling tools, and preparing job sites.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Site Manager or Foreman.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant work environment at all times.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in construction or a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and efficiently complete tasks.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Valid Safe Pass certification or a willingness to obtain one before starting.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
