Site Foreman
At Oakwood Group, we are continuing to grow our residential development portfolio across Dublin and are looking for an experienced Foreman to join our team.

Working directly alongside the Directors, this role will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership on site and who wants to grow with a company that is continuing to expand.
The Role
As Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day running of residential construction projects from early stages through to completion. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while maintaining strong communication across all trades, subcontractors and stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who comes from a strong carpentry background and has extensive experience managing busy construction sites and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily site operations and coordinate trades on site
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to the highest quality standards
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams effectively
- Maintain excellent health & safety standards across all projects
- Work closely with Directors on project progression and reporting
- Assist with supplier pricing, negotiations and commercial awareness across builds
- Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics
- Ensure strong communication and professionalism across the full build cycle
- Take ownership of site organisation and programme delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working as a Foreman
- Strong carpentry background essential
- Proven experience within residential construction projects
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of site management and full build cycles
- Experience with supplier negotiations and pricing awareness highly desirable
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
